The Last of Us Part II is bringing a sleek looking PS4 Pro before this generations console series comes to a close.
As the console’s life cycle nears its end, Sony’s PS4 isn't leaving quietly, but with a bang. The PS4 still has two massive titles coming out this year, Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part II. However, not just new games, but also a whole new special edition console as well.
Information directly from PlayStation blog showcases the new PS4 Pro bundle for the Last of Us II. Inside of the bundle you will receive a Dualshock 4 controller, a physical copy of The Last of Us Part II, and a special version of the console itself, engraved with Ellie’s tattoo.
This total retail price comes out to $399. If you don't already have a PS4, love the Last of Us series, and want a Pro before the generation cycle ends, then this is a fantastic deal to be sure. For the same price of a standalone PS4, you're getting a copy of the game, and a special edition console. Essentially meaning you will get the copy of the game for free, which is the best price (or 60 dollars off a PS4 however you want to look at it).
The company will also be launching a limited edition Gold Wireless Headset, featuring Ellie’s tattoo and The Last of Us Part II‘s logo, which is priced at $99.99. However, if you aren't a die hard Last of Us fan, or already have a PS4 pro, there's no need to be purchasing the console now with Next-Gen ever so close. If you want to get gaming while in quarantine though, and can't wait for next-gen, now is the time to snatch this glorious PS4.
The Last of Us Part II and the game’s PS4 Pro bundle are both launching next month on June 19.
