General New Fortnite Season Delayed

Fornite's latest season is in the works and on its way, however, its currently been delayed another week. Fortnite Chapter 2 season 3 will now start on June 11 rather than June 4th, according to an official statement from Epic. This is now the second time that Epic has delayed the upcoming season.

Back in mid-April, Epic said that the seasons start date was going from April 30 to June 4. This isn't the first time Fortnite has delayed a season, at the end of the first season of Chapter 2, the game also faced several delays on its way to season two, ultimately being pushed back by about a month.

Season 2 has been one of the busiest ever for Fortnite. Along with the game’s regular updates, Epic has had far more in game events than usual, with several different in-game concerts and last week’s Tenet trailer premiere. Epic also released the all-new Party Royale map this season.

Epic will the end of this season will include a special in-game event that will change the map and continue the games story. This event is called "The Device", and will begin on Saturday, June 6, at 2 p.m. ET. You can get into the event 30 minutes prior to its start in order to secure your spot if you want.
