A new Star Wars game is rumored to he revealed on June 9th. According to reputable sources, Star Wars: Project Maverick will be officially revealed by Electronic Arts and EA Motive this Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's as far as the rumors go, no information on what the game is, when it's going to be released or so on.
The report comes from Star Wars page Bespin Bulletin, a source that has proven its reliability in the past. Further, the report comes on the back of another recent report that claimed the game was going to be revealed last week. However, it's safe to say it was pushed back due to the protests in regards to George Floyd.
Whats interesting about this reveal, is why would they reveal it now rather than at EA Play (originally set to go down on June 11, but will now go down on June 18). Why would EA reveal a game nine days before its big event? However, this is something that EA has done in the past, and Star Wars is also big enough to get its own day. If this is true, we may simply see a teaser and maybe more footage at the upcoming EA event.
That being said, take this information with a grain of salt, but stay tuned to see what happens!
