Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be getting a new game to add to their collection. No Man’s Sky from Hello Games is going to be putting the title on Game Pass this coming June. Hello Games programmer Sean Murray made an official announcement on the Xbox Wire Blog, and Xbox GamePass officially tweeted it out.
No Man’s Sky was originally released on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC in 2016, with the game coming to Xbox One in 2018. The game released with a rather bumpy start, having limited things you could actually do, repetitive planets, and so on. However, the developers completely overhauled the game, making a worthwhile sci-fi action adventure for all to enjoy. The latest update in April, called Exo Mech, added a “fully controllable mechanical walker” to the game.
Today, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play a load of games, including Cities: Skylines, Minecraft Dungeons and even Read Dead Redemption 2. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which gives players access to both console and PC games in the program, is $14.99 a month, but if you're new to the subscription, you only have to pay $1 to start. The Xbox-only Game Pass is $9.99 a month, while the Xbox Game Pass for PC is available for $4.99 a month, a limited time price as it is usually $9.99.
Hello Games stated No Man’s Sky will get a Windows 10 PC version, on sale at the Windows PC store, but an exact release data is yet to be announced.
