A new version of Pac-Man is releasing next month called Pac-Man Live Studio. This version is going to be a lot different as compared to previous versions, seeing as Live Studio will be played on Twitch. The announcement comes from Amazon Games and Bandai Namco, and introduces Pac-Man players to a web browser game which can be played by up to four different people at once. Other features in the game will allow players to create their own Pac-Man mazes to experiment with and to share those mazes with others. You can also play the classic Pac-Man game if you’d prefer.
The new version of the game is releasing in June as part of the 40th anniversary of Pac-Man. However, it does not have an exact release date. A website has already ben set up for the game, to give players an overview of Pac-Man Live Studio and its features.
For people looking to play together in the new Pac-Man game, one of the best ways to do looks to be Endless Mode. The objective is to get the highest score possible, but you only get one life. You can play with up to four people, and as long as one person passes the maze, everyone moves to the next level.
Classic Mode brings players back to the original Pac-Man game with no custom mazes or other features. The high scores in this mode will be shared throughout the world, so expect to seem some pretty insane scores.
