As we get closer and closer to next-gen console launch, questions arise, specifically what titles are coming to each. Currently though, Sony has revealed that they will be revealing a multitude of titles. Now, they have confirmed the reveal but haven't confirmed whether these are current-gen titles or new PS5 games. However, its nice to know that a whole new chapter of PlayStation games are set to be revealed in early June.
The information comes from Twitter, where Venture Beat’s Jeff Grubb shared a schedule for upcoming game events. It also showcased Xbox reveal and Unreal Engine 5 tech demo on PS5.
To state again, there is no official confirmation that these are going to be new titles for PS5. However, given that we recently got a Ghost of Tsushima State of Play, and Microsoft is due to showcase new first-party titles in July, it would make sense for Sony to give us a taste of next-gen titles.
Grubb’s list also includes other upcoming events, suck as Cyberpunk 2077, which has a reveal planned for June 11 and a possible Nintendo Direct this September. On the topic of Cyberpunk 2077, the Cyberpunk 2077 Reaver was recently unveiled. Also, according to Australian ratings board, it has been confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will allow you to mutilate corpses.
Finally its good to know that UE5 will make a showcase and was also confirmed to be on both Xbox Series X and Playstation 5, which we knew was going to happen, but officially confirmed is nice to hear.
