PlayStation Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and Call of Duty: WWII Free on PlayStation Plus in June

Lots of amazing free games are being released on all consoles and platforms in the month of June. Epic Games store brought Borderlands free for PC players, Xbox is giving away No Mans Sky and now PlayStation is starting to ramp up. Sony is bringing two amazing titles to PlayStation Plus members in June for free. Recently, Sony announced that Call of Duty: WWII would have its debut as a free title, but now Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been announced as a free release as well.

Battlefront 2 released during holidays in 2017, but was met with a lot of backlash due to the loot box system that they implemented in the game. Since then, Electronic Arts (EA) has overhauled the game, and launched loads of new content for fans. In the latest update, which also appears to be its last, we saw the addition of Scarif from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Since launch, they have added new characters, modes and so on, a game truly worth checking out now.

Call of Duty: WWII released around the same time, and had a better launch than Battlefront 2. It’s also got new content over the years, including more missions for the Zombies mode. In 2018 the developers also added aerial dogfights, allowing players to take to the Skys and fight opponents. The game also brought new maps, such as Dunkirk and on the beaches of Sicily.

Star Wars Battlefront II will be released for free on June 2, while Call of Duty: WWII is available right now. You will be able to get both for free until Monday, July 6.
